In my dream smoke followed me
Дым преследовал меня,
As on fire the whole world had been
Будто мир горел — вот сон мой.
To the yard I walked in
Шел за мною со двора
Up the frontstep and opened the door
На крыльцо и в открытую дверь
Cranes flew over to the North
Прочь улетели журавли,
As I walked on dry
В края Севера.
And passed through a grove
Я шел по полям
Yellow with flowers
С желтыми цветами!
They had been expecting me
Мне сказали, что они
They said so and I believed
Меня ждут, и я поверил.
Im my dream smoke came to me
Дым во сне настиг меня,
And we became as one
И стали мы одним!
Cranes flew over to the North
Прочь улетели журавли,
As I walked on dry
В края Севера.
