Overhead the albatross
Альбатрос над головой,
Hngs motionless upon the air
Недвижно в воздухе висит,
And deep beneath the rolling waves
А под волнами в глубине,
In labyrinths of coral caves
В коралловой пустой норе -
The echo of a distant tide
Там эхо дальнее звучит,
Comes willowing across the sand
Прилив волнами говорит,
And everything is green and submarine
И зелень там кругом, на дне морском.
And no one showed us to the land
Ответов нам не прилетит,
And no one knows the wheres or whys
И не подскажут где земля.
But something stirs and something tries
Но что-то ожило внутри
And starts to climb towards the light
И тянет к свету, жжет меня.
Strangers passing in the street
Два пути пересеклись,
By chance two separate glances meet
Случайно взгляды встретились,
And I am you and what I see is me
