And he stood upon the sand of the sea.

And I saw a beast coming out from the sea,
И видел я, как выходил он из моря.
having ten horns, and seven heads, and on his horns
Было у него десять рогов и семь голов; на рогах –
ten diadems, and upon his heads names of blasphemy.
Десять корон, а на головах — имена проклятых.
And he opened his mouth for blasphemies against God,
И открыл он свои уста, чтобы проклясть Бога,
to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle,
Его имя, и его храм,
even them that dwell in the heaven.
И тех, что живут на небесах.
Here is wisdom. He that hath understanding,
В этом вся мудрость. У кого есть ум,
let him count the number of the beast;
Тот сочтет номер зверя,
for it is the number of a man:
Ибо это число человека –
and his number is Six hundred and sixty-six.
И число его шестьсот шестьдесят шесть.
And no marvel; for Satan himself
И никакого чуда, ибо сам Сатана
transformed into an angel of light.
Стал ангелом света.
